No, my friend Debbie and I did not plan this! Amos and Matt are best friends, and I thought it was so cute that Matt was a cowboy and Amos a bull. It was so funny watching the cowboy chase the bull around at preschool ;-)

I am way behind on blogging! Here is what our Halloween looked like this year...

I have a little picket fence in the backyard that has been dying for some TLC for quite some time now. This is what I came up with... (oh, and thank you mother for leaving me a little pink surprise in my yard...never been much of a flamingo fan, but I'm kind of diggin' it with my funky little fence :-)

What I Love About Fall

My favorite time of year is here again!! I love the smells, the colors, the cool air, everything! We have had so much fun picking out pumpkins, carving them, going to the pumpkin patch, etc. Yeah for Fall!!!

Matt's good friend Karl stopped by to wish him a Happy Birthday. Mark and Karl are good farming buddies. We call him "Karl the canyman" because he always has a treat for Matt and Mallary when he sees them!

We bought Matt a super hero cape. He loooooooves it! He wants to wear it all the time!

The boys! This is a picture that will most likely be in the yearbook when they are seniors. All of these boys are in the same class. I see a future football team in the making!!!

My baby boy turned 4 on September 13th. It seems like yesterday we were dressing our 8lb 9 oz bouncing baby boy in his A&M outfit to bring him home from the hospital. This year he wanted a "RED" tractor themed party, so that we did! Mark even gave all of his little friends a ride in his new red tractor! We had such a wonderful time celebrating!

To my little man,

 Matt, you have such a beautiful little spirit! Everything we dreamed of our little boy being, you are. We love you so much, and hope you had a wonderful 4th birthday!

Butterflies

I have a butterfly bush that spontaniously sprouted this year, and the monarch butterflies have been so neat to watch! The kids have loved chasing them throughout the yard. I love this picture!

Matt's 1st Day of Preschool (2nd year)

Well, preschool has started once again for Matt. His first day was a little tough for him still, but his teacher said he did beautifully once we were gone. I am so proud of him! I know he will have a very exciting year!

p.s. I am also teaching a class in the same preschool. He thinks it's cool that I am in the same building as him. I have a confession..... I LOVE preschoolers! I think the Lord may be leading me in this direction once my children are in school. We'll see what He has in store!
