Miss Mallary Jill

"Hiiiiiii Deeee Dooooo", as I always say! My name is "Maaayee". I am 14 months old and full of life! I can do so many neat things right now. For instance, I say lots of words. I even try to put two or three words together to try and make a little sentence. Cool huh?!? I still like my bottle, or Ba-Ba as I call it, but mommy and daddy think that's just fine! I drink about one or two a day, so all is good they say! I love to climb up on chairs, cabinets, and pretty much anything that I can hike my legs up on. I also like to eat (unlike my big brother). I hear mommy tell people that I'm her "eater". Don't worry though...it's all healthy! I like to sing songs like "Jesus loves me" and "Happy Birthday" and I like to dance too. I like to wrestle with the boys, read books, and watch "Thomas the Train" with Matt. I'm also a champ at sleeping and I even like to sleep in a little late too! I can count to 3 and sing some of the ABC's. I love to be outside, and I love to snuggle with my babies. Sometimes I'm mean to my brother... I've been in trouble a couple of times for hitting him on the head with toys, or pinching him, but I promise I love him! I'm a Daddy's girl. He's my hero.... forever and always. I weigh 23 lbs and I have curly light blonde hair. They say I'm a lot like my brother...very curious, and very active. I think that's a good thing. We make a good team. Wow, being 14 months is a lot of work, but ohhhhh so much fun!

Date Night



 Date nights are hard to come by this time of year(especially without rain!!!), so we take advantage of them when we can! Thank you Mark for a wonderful evening full laughter!!!

Swimming Lessons

He is sooo proud of these goggles. Lol!

It is so neat to see how your children grow from year to year. Matt is taking his annual swimming lessons, and he is doing such a good job this year! He is getting more and more confident in the water, and we love watching him learn! One full week down, one more to go! Way to go Matt!!! You'll be swimming before we know it!

Argyle Accent Door

I just finished painting the door to our hot water heater, which is in our bathroom. Gosh y'all, argyle is hard to paint! I didn't realize how tedious and time consuming it would be. I'm glad it's done, and I'm really happy with the way it turned out.
To Amy: Thank you for helping me measure. Somehow I missed that lesson in school! Hahaha!

Cousins

 These little ones are truly the best of friends. I am so fortunate to have my sister and nephew living in the same town. What a joy it is to watch our children grow up together!

Sweet Babies

I want to cherish each and every moment I have with my babies. Life is too short, and they grow so quickly. I love them with every ounce of my being! 

Cars 2

We have been counting down the days to watch Cars 2. Matt has been beyond excited! We planned a special evening just with him. We had such a great time, and fell in love with the movie. It was so cute...a definite must see!

Coco Roo Cookies

Cookies turn out better when you have some cute little helpers!

First: Sample the cereal to make sure it tastes ok ;)

You will need : 1/4 cup of Honey, 1 cup of sugar, 1/2 cup of Light Corn Syrup, 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, and 4 cups of Chocoalte Puff Cereal

Bring sugar, honey, and corn syrup to a rolling boil.

like so...

remove from heat and add peanut butter.

add chocolate cereal and stir

Spoon on to wax paper. Let cool, and then enjoy!

Princess PJ's

She has a toothbrush in her mouth. She loves to brush her teeth. I can hardly get it away from her!

Coolin' Off

There's nothing better than sitting out on the porch enjoying a nice cold drink on a hot summer's day! Whew....we've had some hot ones here lately! This momma is ready for a cool down.

A Little Rough and Tumble

Matt and Mallary like to wrestle around. It's very entertaining to watch. Don't be fooled for a second though. Mallary can certainly hold her own! Sometimes Matt can get a little rough, but she doesn't let him get away with much! She likes to pinch too. She'll just walk right up to him, and pinch the snot out of him. I have to save face and tell her not to pinch brother, because I would do the same with Matt. Oh, but it's really hard not to laugh! Good times!
